We would like to invite you to attend the 58th Annual AFCEA, Erie Canal Chapter Golf Tournament at Valley View Golf Course, Utica, NY on Thursday, August 6, 2020, tee times start at 8am, and proceed in 10 minute increments thereafter. The primary purpose of this tournament is to raise funds for AFCEA scholarships while enjoying a day of fellowship.  

NEW* The format will be a “Normal Scramble” -- a.k.a. Captain and Crew.

NEW* There will be a LUNCH (turkey sub sandwich, chips, and drink) on the turn. During registration, please indicate if you would prefer a vegetarian substitute.  

NEW* Basket Raffles! If you would like to donate a basket, please contact Nancy Roberts ( or Mike Wessing ( Each basket will state who donated it. All proceeds go to the scholarship fund.

Due to COVID-related safety precautions, 1 person will be riding in a cart, and there is no dinner event after golf. A virtual awards ceremony will be held that evening at 7pm.

Pricing is as follows: 

NEW* Individual Golfer: $75. Cart is included. *Note: Government must pay their own way.

Tee Signs: $100 (Bronze Sponsorship)

Tee Signs and Four Golf Passes: $400 (Silver Sponsorship)

Tee Signs, Four Golf Passes, and an AFCEA Scholarship to be Awarded in Sponsor’s Name: $800 (Gold Sponsorship)

50/50 Raffle Tickets and Mulligans will be sold on site

We would like to encourage government and contractor mixed teams for this year’s tournament, but it is not required. All entrants will receive favors and are eligible to compete for golf prizes.
